Butch and I read this incredible story that we thought we would share. This has been all over the news since Sunday and I find it more remarkable each time I think of it. This dog walked, ran, and otherwise found it’s way home over an 80 mile stretch out in Nevada, crossing mountains and desert to get back home after it had run away at a rest stop. Naturally, it was a bigger dog, a husky, but nevertheless 80 miles away from home. I guess if it was going to happen, this is the type of dog that could pull it off. Butch seems to think that he could do it but I think he would end up dinner for a bear before he made it over the mountains! Check out the story at this link.
