We were just informed on May 1, 2009 that our book ”My Buddy Butch – Confessions of a New Dog Dad” has been awarded the prestigious ”Dove Family Approved Seal” from the Dove Foundation. In its 18th year as an advocate of family values in entertainment, The Dove Foundation has worked to encourage and promote the creation, production, distribution and consumption of wholesome entertainment. The Dove foundation is recognized by well over 50 million Americans as the “Keeper of the seal” and a trusted source for the kinds of entertainment that all family members can enjoy together with confidence.

Choosing only about 220 books, dvds, cds, and movies each year, we are proud and honored to be included with over 4000 others and in the company of such recognized names as Disney, Dreamworks, 20th Century Fox, Nicolas Cage, Miley Cirus, Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogan, Hugh Laurie, and Steve Martin among many others. It has long been the goal of Jeff Marginean and JEMAR Entertainment to provide a highly entertaining product that can be enjoyed by the entire family. This “vote of confidence” by the Dove foundation reinforces our march toward that goal with the My Buddy Butch series of books. As we move toward film rights negotiations we will keep our commitment to “family approved” entertainment firmly in the forefront of any resulting product while hoping to procure many more Dove Foundation Awards!
