Pet Expert Charlotte Reed
As I began my journey last year of having the book released and starting the radio show, I had no idea of the things I would be doing or the people I would be meeting. In the first few years of having Butch I had met so many nice people and pet owners that I had a pretty good feeling about the direction I was headed, but being a music producer I was a bit aprehensive based on my experience with people in “the business.” Imagine my pleasant suprise last fall when I recieved a phone call from Charlotte Reed effectively welcoming me into the fold. Charlotte put together the Pet Writer’s Conference in New York that I had signed up for and was calling me to say “Hi” and let me know that if I had any questions not to hesitate to let her know! After meeting her las February I learned that she is as delightful in person as she is on the air! Charlotte is a Pet Expert, an author (Miss Fido Manners Complete Book of Dog Etiquette), one of the co-founders of the Metropolitan Dog Club of New York, and an expert on pet products of all kinds! Listen in on our conversation about her many years of experience with pets, pet products and her current gig as the spokesperson for Arm & Hammer Pet Products!

Airedale Adoptions for Florida!
Over the years I have spent much time in Florida visiting relatives and then my parents as they wintered there from Ohio. I got to know Miami and especially the Ft. Lauderdale are very well and enjoyed every bit of it! I love Florida and as I get older hope to make that the winter location for MBB Radio! OK, enough of my commentary…Sara Schlossman of Sun Shine Airedalers of Florida was kind enough to join us from sunny Florida…well it was storming during our chat…but still Florida none-the-less! As you know by reading my book, I have done a lot of studying on how to take the best care of Butch possible. It never fails that Dr. Donna teaches me something new almost every week. She loves our pets almost as much as we do and has devoted her life to the best care possible for them. Dr. Donna Spector helps me through a problem that Butch has had with his annual shots. Parvo, Distemper shots seem to cause Butch some problems. Is he allergic to the shots? Is your pet allergic to shots? Listen to Dr. Donna walk me through the need for these shots and help me understand the dosages, and some testing that can be done to see if he even needs them annually… not to mention what I can do if we find that Butch is actually allergic to the shots and other important information!
