I had a great time in California attending the Dog show and met some really nice people. This is quite an event! Being in California the weather is usually not a factor, but this year for the 9th annual show they had to deal with a bit of rain and cooler temps. Being from Ohio 55 degrees and rainy is like summer weather for me in December anyway. Never-the-less the show must go on and go on it did. We play a few of the interviews from entrants and also Jason Taylor of Eukanuba who is in charge of the event.

Hosting the AKC Eukanuba Championship
Erin Wanner has been producer ast Animal Planet for a few years now and she is the producer for the AKC Eukanuba ChampionShip that will air on “The Night Before The Superbowl!” February 6th. Erin was nice enough to take time out of her schedule to give us a call and talk to us about what it takes to get a dog show as big as this one ready to be on TV!. She also gives a few words of advice for young people who want to get into producing!

PugFest 2010 Ft. Meyers Florida
Karen Sloan of Lee County Library in Ft. Meyers Florida joined us to talk about the 2010 Pugfest. This is the 5th annual Pugfest that they have had and it couldn’t be for a better cause! This year’s theme is TOGA’s for the Pugs. Can’t wait to see the pictures!
