ALL antifreeze is LETHAL to your Pet!
Sam Martin of Prestone joined us to talk about the safety aspects of antifreeze! We all have it, hopefully in the engine and not on the floor. Always check under your car for puddles and spills. DId you know that Prestone partnered with the ASPCA many years ago to get the word out to pet owners on the hazards of antifreeze? Last week in The My Buddy Butch Chronicle I wrote about changing the thermostat in my truck…what a mess I made with antifreeze on the floor! Cleaned it up pretty good so Butch wouldn’t get into itbut thought it was a good idea to throw the reminder out there. Sam is also a dog lover AND a rescuer! Thanks Sam for taking the time to be with us! I’ve been using Prestone for 30 years and always will!

This week Dr. Patrick talks to us about “Stump.” Stump was the 2009 Westminster Champion Sussex Spaniel. He was not only the oldest dog to ever win Westminster but did you know that he almost died a few years ago from a bizzar bacterial infection? Dr. Patrick talks about this and we also get into a long discussion on Vaccines. After a ripple I caused with my last “Chronicle” by mentioning booster shot vaccinations, I think it’s time to spend a little more time incvestigating this issue from the pro/con standpoint and make a decision on how I will handle Butch’s future!
