This pointer is "Sensation!"
Have you seen “Sensation?” Do you see the dog on the logo for Westminster above? Of course you do! This is a painting of the dog Sensation who was the mascot for the Westminster Kennel Club in New York! This is a “Pointer” which is a hunting dog and a member of the “sporting” group as defined by the American Kennel Club. Columnist Joanne Anderson is a Metropolitan Dog Club “President’s Award Winner” and writer of the column “Pets, Pets, Pets” that is in a number of newspapers. She currently working to find the original grave site of “ Sensation” the actual pointer that is pictured above which they believe to be in Babylon near the Long Island, New York area. She has written more than 25 articles detailing the search which has had twists and turns that she never would have guessed when she started. Listen in as we talk about her search and if they will even hire a historical psychic to help in the search, as they are looking for a grave from the late 1800’s…very interesting. FLORIDA TO ALLOW BREED SPECIFIC LEGISLATION - (From Pet Product news intl.)Here we go again. I’m getting really sick of talking about this… Senate Bill 1276, sponsored by Sen. Tony Hill, D-Jacksonville, allows “any local government [to place] further restrictions or additional requirements on owners of dangerous dogs.” My Buddy Butch is a very dangerous and deadly dog… to squirrels….
