Hour 1 – This week Jeff has the interview with Pat Cooper from the dinner they had together in New York during Jeff’s Westminster trip. Pat’s new book “How Dare You Say How Dare Me” is a look at Pat’s life in comedy and some of the people he knew and worked with like Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Tony Bennet and others. Monica King of the German Shepherd Rescue of Georgia joins us for the rescue segment and also Dr. Patrick Mahaney talks about the H1N1 cases that have been popping up again in animals in the United States. Also some discussion on Japan’s tragedy and the National Cherry Blossom Festival coming up in Washington on March 26th. Hour 2 – This hour Jeff Talks about Nitro’s Law which concerns an animal cruelty case that saw a large rottwieler dog starved to death by the care takers. Dr. Patrick Mahaney talks about the national campiagn to pass the law in Ohio. The Dove Foundation wants you to vote for the family friendly movie of 2010 and in honor of St. Patrick’s day …Irish Dog Breeds and Cats of the British Isles. Amy Grice of the MN Midwest Pug Rescue joins us to talk about the breed and what is done when PUGs need a good home. Also Jeff talks about the approaching Spring and some of the things to do with your pet now that we can finally get back outside!
