Hour 1

Dr Nancy Bromberg DMV is a  veterinary specialist in Ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania. She joins Jeff  because starting April 1st, registration will begin for the 5th Annual ACVO/Merial National Service Dog Eye Exam event.  This non-profit event provides free eye examinations to qualified service dogs across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.  Last year, more than 4,000 service dogs were examined and we’re hoping to examine even more this year.  If you haven’t already done a story on this we hope you will consider including it sometime now through the end of April.  We’d be happy to coordinate any interviews and images you may need and also provide you with the top 5 tips on keeping all animals’ eyes healthy.  We can also discuss the most common eye problems for pets and what happens during an eye examination. Dr. Dawn Marcus, MD Board Certified Neurologist at the University of Pittsburgh and Award winning author not to mention a regular on the My Buddy Butch Show joins Jeff to talk about her book Power of Wagging Tails and congrats to her because this book has made the 2012 Forward Book of the Year Finalist spot! News and announcements , Jeff gives lawn mowing tips!
